Course Goals:
This course enhances recognition of the etiologic, clinical, and radiographic features of oral and perioral abnormalities, including manifestations of systemic diseases, building on prior knowledge in Oral Pathology. Histologic findings will also be discussed where appropriate.

Course Format:

• CPC seminars.
• Residents will periodically receive cases to review before class, complete diagnostic forms, and discuss findings during seminars.
• Active participation and preparation are essential for success.

Attendance Policy:
Attendance follows AAUP guidelines. Residents are expected to attend all classes unless prevented by illness or emergency. Notify the course director of any necessary absences.

Remediation Policy:
Residents who fail the course will repeat it in its entirety.
